Sinakimvelo environmental operates within the uMgungundlovu district in the KwaZulu-Natal province, South Africa. The organisation was formed when the director identified the deteriorating state of the environmental resources in the district. Due to the negative impact that alien invasive plants have on the water sources this co-op seeks to eradicate alien invasive plants in the district. This eradication of alien species brings the much-needed job opportunities in the communities within the district. Besides the job opportunities from this project there is education and training conducted.
